   vue Centro Historico has argueably one of the best locations in town. Situated on a quiet stretch of the Malecon, it is a short walk to beaches, Olas Altas and the Centro area.

   If you walk north along the Malecon you will come to Playa Norte, a very popular beach with the locals. It is a great place to grab a coco helado or go out with your boogie board. South along the Malecon from the vue Centro Historico will take you past the cliff divers, momuments, the public salt water pool, then Olas Altas with it's numerous restuarants, shops, and one of the most popular surf breaks in the city. Walking inland from there will find you in Centro Historico, the heart of Mazatlan. Within the turn of the century colonial style architecture, you will find restuarants, shops, galleries and museums. Plazuela Machado, Angela Peralta Theatre, Pino Suarez Mercado and the cathedral are all located in the area.
